to just play the playoff games in this system at home team sites and leave the bowls to the teams that don't make the playoffs. The bowls would then become college football's version of the NIT tourney. But they'd still have some very solid matchups in most years. Remember, in most years all of the one loss teams WON'T make the field as they do this year. This is just how it worked out this year.
