but I think it is far too confusing and fluid to be accepted by college football. Your system is actually more difficult to understand, especially given the numerous possibilities that could exist and changes you have to make to accomodate them, than the current BCS system. It's more fair for sure, but people would be confused and people don't like systems that have seemingly different rules each year. I know the criteria to make the playoff is the same each year (unless you change the percentage that a team's SOS needs to be higher), but people will not like having a 2 team playoff one year and a 7 team playoff the next year. They want steady, reliable, and predictable.
