The criteria that gets them in is the same criteria that I built in to avoid having a team that lost to a powerful opponent get snubbed in favor of an undefeated team that played nobody. Boise State's appearance as an undefeated makes it to where EVERY one loss team gets in on that criteria this year because all the one loss teams lost to a team that is higher ranked than the best team on Boise State's schedule. Perhaps a tweak is needed that would say that any one loss teams that get in the Class Two field MUST also have a strength of schedule in the upper 50% of college football. That way teams that play weak schedules but lose their one biggest game, don't get in by virtue of scheduling themselves to a minimum of one loss.
