EJ Manuel was a 6’5″ 240 lbs quarterback out of Virginia Beach, VA. Manuel played significant parts of four seasons for the Seminoles due to injuries suffered by Christian Ponder before becoming a full time starter his Junior season. Manuel is the only quarterback in FSU history to lead the Noles to four Bowl victories. He graduated holding several career records at FSU and his name can be found near the top of many record lists. Manuel is tops career completion percentage, yards per attempt and yards per completion in a game, third in career yards, third in season yards, and sixth in career touchdowns. He was also a decent runner, especially early in his career and he finished with 827 yards rushing as a Seminole. Drafted in the 1st Round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Manuel was the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills in 2013 but missed a majority of the season due to injury.
Jameis Winston is a 6’4″ 227 lbs quarterback out of Hueytown, AL. Winston just completed his first season as starter for the Seminoles by leading the Noles to their 3rd ever National Championship and winning the Heisman Trophy. He broke numerous FSU, ACC and freshman NCAA records in 2013. In the FSU record book he set the season (and thus far career) mark for passing efficiency, season touchdown passes, season (career) yards per attempt, and had the second most passing yards in a single season becoming just the second Seminole quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards in a year. He helped lead an offense that set the NCAA record for points in a season and shattered virtually every FSU offense and scoring record this year.
