29 Days Until Seminole Football

#29 – Nate Andrews

Defensive Back – 5’11″ 210 lbs – Sophomore

Nate Andrews flipped from Minnesota to Florida State in the 2013 season and as a 3 star prospect, not much was expected right away from the Fairhope, Alabama native.  Andrews had different plans, though, and saw some significant action right away.  As a true freshman last year he played in all 14 games, led the Seminoles in interceptions with 4, finished second on the team in passes defended, and tied for the team lead with 3 forced fumbles.  He made his presence known on special teams, as well, with 10 special teams tackles, tied for 2nd on the team.   Andrews was named 3rd Team All-ACC and was named to several Freshman All-American teams.  Heading into 2014, Andrews will battle Jalen Ramsey for one of the safety spots, but will undoubtedly see the field plenty no matter who ends up the starter.
