16 Days Until Seminole Football

#16 – J.J. Cosentino

Quarterback – 6’4″ 234 lbs – Freshman

J.J. Cosentino is a true freshman quarterback out of Pennsylvania that attended the same high school as Dan Marino, Marc Bulger, and FSU Coach Sal Sunseri.  Cosentino was a 4* prospect in the Class of 2014 and one of the top 20 quarterbacks in the nation.  A big guy with a big arm, Cosentino will almost certainly take a redshirt this year with Sean Maguire solidly in the #2 spot behind Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston.

#16 – Jacob Pugh

Linebacker – 6’4″ 236 lbs – Freshman

Jacob Pugh is a local prospect out of Godby High School in Tallahassee.  He was a 4* prospect and rated one of the top 10 outside linebackers in the country this past recruiting cycle.  Pugh has a big, long body, with long arms and the frame to add weight.  He has jumped right in and gained attention for his performance early on.  In fact, he will be battling for playing time right away at the Jack position that Christian Jones played some last year on the outside.  When FSU goes to that formation, Chris Casher may be the #1 guy, but with Ukeme Eligwe still out with a lisfranc injury, Pugh will probably get his number called quickly.
