6’5″ 218lbs
A 5* recruit out of high school, Brian Burns was a Freshman All-American last season after leading the nation for freshman and finishing 25th overall with 9.5 sacks on the season. He has excellent speed and quickness off the edge, but was mostly used in passing situations in a backup role. To take the next step, Burns will need to be able to contribute on an every down basis and contribute against the run game.
