Logan Tyler
Sophomore
Punter/Kicker
6’0″ 201 lbs

Logan Tyler was one of the top punters and kickers out of high school in 2016 and started as the Florida State punter and kickoff specialist last season.  He had an up and down freshman campaign with a decent average but struggled with low punts that allowed returns and a few big plays.  On kickoffs, his strong leg on kickoffs as he led the ACC in touchbacks with 57 with a average starting spot of the 23 yard line and only one return passed the 35.  Tyler was used on long field goals as well, going 1 of 2 with a 53 yarder.

Marvin Wilson
Freshman
Defensive Line
6’5″ 329 lbs

Marvin Wilson was a 5* out of high school this year and the #1 ranked defensive tackle in the nation.  A massive man that is physically ready to contribute, it will be interesting to see what sort of the role Wilson may play this year.  The Noles are loaded at the defensive tackle and even though he’s supremely talented, he may end up redshirting.  If he’s able to crack this rotation as a true freshman this year, that bodes well for the Noles in the future as he’ll be a stud.
