I agree -- IMO football is heading toward the trash heap one way or another.

Either the protectionist rules will make it unwatchable or the attorneys will bring the sport and it's equipment manufacturers to their knees.

And, cross referencing threads, the injury aspect will ultimately undo any plans of prolonging the college football season. The NFL has already had the brakes applied on an 18 game regular season -- it's a certainty the attorneys and school administrators will put a c0ck block on a 15 game college season. (12 Reg, 1 CCG, 2 playoff games).
