Don't play and not a Tiger fan, but... - 5 weeks ago

What is the typical penalty for playing an improper drop? Is it two strokes? Was his scorecard incorrect because he didn't account for that (self-penalize) or because he didn't account for the two stroke penalty that the committee imposed, which as I understand, was after the fact? If he was unaware he had been penalized during play, how could be expected to sign a "correct" scorecard?

I haven't tried them for basketball, but think I tuned in online to one football game there this past season (and other games in the past). I recall it took some searching around on their site to find it.

The news is out. Two UT players being investigated. You can draw conclusions as to who the players are, and I think it's reasonable, if not likely, that it is McCoy and Hicks. I just don't know why UT would say more that the police are willing to. Given the sometimes questionable nature of these types of assault claims, I think UT is being prudent in trying to protect their players.

All I can think of is maybe they believe the receiving team, in most cases, would have no real shot at defending against a return for touchdown by the kicking team, due to player positioning and receiving team movement in the oppositie direction. I could be 100% wrong.

was too risky, given the circumstances at the time. Bama had a litttle momentum going and good field position when that play was called. Of course I have 20/20 hindsight. All that said, a stronger receiver makes that play.

they and Alabama also wanted to insure that they played each other in the last regualr season game. If Auburn moved to the East, that game would probably be moved up in the schedule to avoid the possibility of an Auburn/Alabama finale and then a rematch one (or two?) week(s) later in an SEC Championship game (when, and if, they both would qualify). At least that's part of what I've been hearing.

Maybe I"m narrow minded, but to me being in one athletic conference or another is heavily weighted towards athletics, and thus competition. it seems reasonable to beleive that unless the officers are lying, Reid was trying to cover for his friend. Cops can proceeed with a lot of discretion, apparently these two have (had) a zero tolerance policy. The search of his phone will probably be up for some legal scrutiny provided Reid didn't consent to it.

The ease of travel for our fans to away games and their fans to Tallahassee should count for something.
