9 Days Until Seminole Football

#9 – Karlos Williams

Runningback – 6’1″ 225 lbs – Senior

Jimbo Fisher had long desired Karlos Williams on the offensive side of the line with the ball in his hand.  That desire finally came to fruition last season with amazing results.  Williams has track star speed and sprinter’s burst with size usually reserved for a linebacker or bruising fullback.  The results were immediate as he took his very first pitch around the right side and raced 65 yards for a touchdown.  He didn’t stop there as he averaged a jaw dropping 8.02 yards per carry, good for 6th best in the nation.  Not bad for a guy who hadn’t played the position before.  His 730 yards was 2nd best on the team and with his 11 rushing touchdowns he became just the 10th Seminole in history with double digit rushing touchdowns in a season.  Now with a full offseason under his belt learning the position and preparing for the daily grind of carrying the ball, Williams is set to flourish and already getting mentioned as a possible All-American candidate.
